We did a complete metal restoration on this grill. It came to us in terrible condition. We had to sandblast the rust off & chrome strip all the old chrome. You can see all the tiny pits & holes from the decades of environmental stress. Each pit and crack is individually filled & repaired with welding. The metal is then polished multiple times until the surface is smooth and free of any polish lines. The grill is copper plated and polished again. The grill is then plated in nickel, and finally, chrome.
